Hi, I’m Lilla Szekeres, the artist behind LillaMorph. For me, makeup is more than beauty—it's an act of transformation. I fuse natural aesthetics with bold, avant-garde looks, turning each project into a statement that defies the ordinary.

My Journey

My interest in various materials, colors, and faces began early on. I’ve always been fascinated by the similarities and differences in people’s features, and how makeup can enhance or completely transform someone’s appearance. After turning 18, I decided to channel this passion into something more. I became determined to learn and master the craft, seeking out as much information as I could, experimenting, and honing my skills.

What started as a curiosity evolved into a true calling. For me, makeup is not just about beauty—it’s a way to tell stories, evoke emotions, and even build characters. Whether I’m creating a natural look for someone’s special day or crafting a detailed special effects makeup for film, I put my heart into every detail. The thrill of working on a diverse range of faces and using various techniques keeps me inspired.

Each project is an opportunity to explore, learn, and push myself creatively. I’ve come to realize that makeup is a powerful tool, one that can elevate confidence, create fantasy, or bring a director’s vision to life on screen. It’s this versatility and creative challenge that keeps my passion alive, and I’m always excited to see where my journey as a makeup artist will take me next.

I had the opportunity to work on the Pendragon Cycle series, where my role involved dirtying up Viking characters. We filmed in beautiful locations across Romania, often in the early morning hours in cold weather. It was a challenge, but the experience was incredibly rewarding.

Working on the Amadeus series taught me how to apply makeup quickly and efficiently under time constraints. I significantly improved my skills by observing how different skin tones and textures behave, which helped me refine my techniques and grow professionally.
